If you get really desperate for a freshwater shower then it's possible to have one at Manta Dive. They have freshwater both in the pool and showers. You'll probarbly have to pay some rupias for the service but it's worth it. There are freshwater wells on the island but they are not frequent. Manta Dive was fortuante to strike a freshwater well when they dug the pool. I live on Trawangan and have my own house and I must say that it's not all 100% seawater. Our well has braquish water, but it's not to bad, both soap and shampoo works fine. I all depends on where on the island the well is dug.
