Thanks for that Camille - washing with sea water did seem strange at first - but Vila Ombak where we stayed provided a small jar of fresh water for rinsing - that you just ladled over yourself. Guess you can just use bottled water if you get really desperate for "clean" hair
Presumed there were no towels in the real budget places - but didn't realise there was no bedding - but I guess a few spare sarongs work well.
When we do finally get over there again will have to check out some of these smaller places for a different kind of island experience
