If you are after swimwear for a figure bigger than about size 10 I would suggest a visit to a fantastic fabric shop in Bali Galleria, sorry can't remember the name. It's on the ground floor and on the left hand side if you are heading towards Matahari. The prices aren't cheap but the quality is fantastic. They have a HUGE range of really beautiful lycra. I took a pair of bathers that I wanted copied and asked them for the correct metreage. There is a specialist swimwear shop in Legian St called Climax who will do a great job of copying your favourite bathers. (Take some to be copied for the best fit). They are not far from the traffic lights where the Legian St traffic turns left coming from Melasti St. (Sorry can't remember the name of the street, the brain turns to slush as soon as I get off the plane!) The shop is set back from the road on the right hand side just past the traffic lights. The all up cost for fabric and making of a size 16 two piece thingy (think they are called tankinis) with two bottoms (they over calculated a bit on the fabric so why waste it) was about $22. I'll be going back to have some more made next week. And no smart arse comments thank you I do only have one bottom.. fat as it may be!! lol
