since 1992 I am a very frequent visitor the Island of Gods. My last visits dating back from last may and prior to it dec 2004.
I have a booking at the Bounty htl. for the Christmas period again but the recent happenings put me in a dilemma and I am considering to skip Bali this time unfortunately. Since I am a party-freak, I can't resist from going to all the nice nightvenues in Kuta or Seminyak.
Can anyone share with me the current situation ? Are places rather empty ? I can imagine places such as 66, De Ja Vu, Bounty discotheque would be very quite these days. How's tourism in general ? I have been reading conflicting information and would like to hear from people who actually are there right now.
I do appreciate all input regarding safety, and current situation in general.
