I don't think it's unreasonable that you would be expected to pay for some accommodation at one of the hotels Garuda has affiliations with in Bali, as part of this deal. You're certainly going to have to pay airport taxes of maybe $130 (ex syd), for starters.
Obviously if they jack up prices for accommodation too much to make up for the loss of airfare then ppl won't take up the offer. That's not in their interest at all, is it?
