...it does sound too good to be true. I was thinking it might be like the deals that were going around years ago. Does anyone remember..you bought something and you got a free ticket to Bali but the catch was you had to book 10 nights accomodation at particular resorts at a cost of something like $150 per night. so when you work it out ($1500) it is dearer than a package deal so no free trip after all. My late father always used to say "There's no such thing as a free lunch" A few years ago a friend won 2 tickets to Bali on the radio, she asked me if I would like to go with her and of course I said yes. She told me the date we were going and I organised my passport and time off work...it got closer and closer and I was excited, I asked her if I needed to show my passport to travel agent, this was about 4 days before we were supposed to leave. She says to me " actually I didn't know how to tell you this but I have asked someone to go else instead" I was devastated as I had psyched myself up for this trip of a lifetime so I decided to buy myself a ticket and go anyway.I asked her when she had actually made this decision and she said 4 months before, so she let me think all that time I was going and she had no intention of taking me with her. She actually did me a favour as I would never have gone overseas on my own but had been so looking forward to it that I thought to hell with it I'm going anyway. And so began my love for travelling and if anyone has read my posts would know I have travelled all over the world on my own since that very first Bali trip 11 years ago. Oh, and no we never spoke again after that except when she ran into me on THAT Bali trip and asked if I could lend her some money as she had run out.I will not post what my reply was just in case there are children reading this!!!!
