the views are well worth it. There are many stunning sights to see, and the differing weather and climate, depending on where you are in Bali, can change the whole ambience.
Our first time to Lovina was in a local bus that took 4+ hours, over hill and dale, and there were little plastic bags for anyone who felt like it to vomit in. Surprisingly, they were used copiously. We went this route for thrift and ignorance; our bible at that time was 'The Lonely Planet'. But it's one experience we will never forget for its uniqueness to us, and our 'bravery' for doing it!
This also happened to be our first time visiting Bali, so we were agog and enchanted by the whole experience.
