Have just picked up air tickets BUT

I have just picked up our air tickets but they are not for Bali, instead Phuket. So why am I still on the Bali travel forum you may ask??? It just does not feel the same. Bali?Thailand? We have not been in Phuket since 2001 Sept 11 - the day that changed us all. I'm sure that we will have a wonderful time again in Thailand and will meet alot of others who have changed from Bali, BUT when I picked up our tickets the first question to our travel agent was start making arrangements for Nyepi in March next year. Does anyone know the date for Nyepi 2006?

It has been interesting reading posts from those who have changed their travel to other places and how they compare to Bali.

I know this is the BALI TRAVEL FORUM but I would like to hear other reports too. If I don't get howled down for this I might even post when I get back.

But for the time being I'm still reading and dreaming about Bali, and making plans for March.
