If it is the market I went to, it is horrible. I went alone with my 2 boys (5 and 7). My eldest kept holding his nose, saying it smelt. We were the only "white" people there. Everyone stared at us, hasselled us and a lady followed us all around. Upstairs, the aisles are very skinny and we were dodging all the market sellers (they stood out the front of their stalls). I was terrified! Didn't buy much. really not worth the hassel. When we left, our driver was up the street. Kids were yelling out for him. he came running and saved us from the gathering of sellers we had around his car. My boys said "Mum we didn't like that place" Neither did I. DON'T GO!!!!!Never been scared in Bali until then.
