but I think we both know by now we have a lot in common & we both love meeting new people in Bali AND talking to them <LOL> even bit more fun involved if it involves shopping as well ! It can be a challenge at times <VBG> Us girls can put up with a lot if we think a bargain & a bit of fun is involved.
BTW -I do NOT mean anything rude to anyone,I just mean I am NOT suprised Fiona & myself feel the same on this one.
My husband also absolutely hates it there but & sweares he has had enough.If he won't come with me in future I will go by myself.Our dear son says the place sucks & stinks & the only reason he comes with me is because I will buy him stuff he likes when we are there.Normally the 2 of them prefer to get a drink at a cafe or something to eat while I am shopping at the markets & keep trying to threaten me they will leave if I don't hurry up.
I've had the guides follow me,sit down & stop when I do etc & be a bit of a pain as well but after a few words in Bahasa they seemed to lose interest when I told them I was there just to look & talk to people.Sometimes I ask them about their families & their village & they seem to lose track of why they are following me <LOL> Maybe I was luckier than Lynne that they weren't maybe as persistant the times I have been there.Anyway I just think it's all part of the adventure.
