Hi My husband and I stayed at villa bintang from 24th Sept -1stOct 2005 It is lovely we had a ground floor superior room 103 near the front. The room was large 2 new single beds ( if you want a queen aske for 104 -106-108 these mattresses are not new and a bit hard)had a lovely bathroom (shower in the bath) the deluxe rooms are upstairs and lovely but we were satisfied with our room and didnt want to pay $20us a day extra to upgrade. Breakfast is OK eggs pancakes if you ask nescafe ask free sometimes bacon mostly indonesian food restaurant on the beach . Pool bar is good delicious cocktails. Beautiful pool spotless pool boy is excellent. We were the only Australians mostly germans and japanese we managed to have some fun with them we are 60ish Lots of water sports right at the beach. Staff are excellent very friendly and efficient. We would stay again for a few days to veg out. Lots of nice restaurants on the street out the front, good laundry just down the road. The road is being repared so a bit difficult to walk on we used the beach to walk. Hope this is helpfull. Lynette
