Hi Ann,The food is not too expensive a bit ordinary but the restaurant is right on the beach There are some lovely restaurants in the street at the front of the hotel just a short walk. Kuta is about 1/2 hour away by car we paid 60,000 - 75000rp each way in a bemo about $8-10 maybe it is cheaper by cab. The hotel has a free shuttle bus on the hour to Nusa Dua we did this one day the caught a taxi to Kuta 40000rp. I have some photos of the pool and one showing part of our room I can email them if you like. We have also stayed at Kumala Pantai the rooms at villa bintang are nicer. I am sure you will have a great time and as there are 4 of you the transport to Kuta wont be expensive lynp@hotkey.net.au Hope this helps.
