I agree what you say regarding if one is fearful then supporting from a distance is ok, every traveller is different espeically when travelling with young children. However myself and my husband own 2 businesses in NZ who contribute well over $150,000.00 NZD per year to the Bali economy, can you imagine what would happen if people like us started to pull our interests out of there. We have been in touch with our 3 main suppliers who are already experiencing a decline in the retail sales however at this stage their export sales are keep them afloat. We are off to Bali again on the 29th of this month to get another 20foot container underway. Our attitude is we will continue to support the Bali economy and hope that most business people will continue to do the same if they can. To be honest I am more confident to travel to Bali at them moment than Australia. At the end of the day everyone is different and any decision made regarding travel to Bali is a personal one.
P.s. can wait to go even though this is my 18th trip the anticipation is still there
