They actually were USED in Iraq... Killed thousands of Kurds. The guilt doesn't diminish because it was in the 1980s.

Ok, actually answering the point you were trying to make, WMDs were used TWICE against US forces in Iraq during 03-04.
In both cases, it appears the terrorists/insurgents didn't actually know they were using WMDs, but just stockpile weaponry from old Iraq. (Both times, smallpox. Noone killed because the weapons were poorly used.)
Both times it was reported in international media in many forms but only briefly - so noone seemed to notice. Weird.
