Gili Air is nice and quiet with a row of restaurants along with accom on the eastern side. It is also a stopover port for surf trip boats and yachties, so you will likely find a bunch of drunk wobbly legged sea goers like myself at times.
Gili Meno is very quiet and has cheap accommodation all around the coast, North to Eastern quarter is the best with good snorkelling 2metres off the beach. We spent 1 1/2 weeks on Meno as part of our honeymoon, perfect location for something like that. Also has a bird park to waste half a day away with.
Gili Trawangan is where you'll find alot more people and more classy accommodation, lots of hedonism, bintangs and dance music, not sure about the e's anymore.
I've stayed on Lembongan quite a few times and again it's a layed back quiet place. Good for kicking back and surfing. Not much good laying around the beach though as it's full of seaweed and rubbish. Mushroom beach would be nice though, and theres' a few good beaches over at Cenigan Island across the bridge but they are very hard to get to. Worth the exploration! You will find your own piece of paradise if you get a snorkelling boat driver to take you around the islands close to shore.
All Islands are full of fun, just depends on how much you want to relax.
Some good restaurants on Lembongan too, each with the latest DVD's of course.
