I've booked this driver for a couple of days this month, but have never met him before. Think he sent this email out to all his clients. I thought it was interesting to get a perspective from the Balinese.

As we know That Bali hitted by another bomb last Saturday , another tragedy for Balinese people and also will be hard for Balinese economically .the bomb blasted as after 20 hour government increased gasoline price almost 100% , it's been alot rumors that this bomb has something to do with government, gasoline , or what ever it is behind in the end will be blamed what we call it "terrorist" . sometime it's hard to tell who is the real terrorist when its come to oil '!!
Its hard to understand who did it and why they did it ??
we are Balinese dealing with all price increasing , food , milk for our baby etc due to gasoline price, its automatically, of course something to-do with distribution and transportation . we just hope effect of this bomb not going to be like last 2002 bomb.
we don't know what to say... since Bali now is quite , some tourist need to leaving Bali .... I just wait and see how thing going . hope it not going to be like last 2002 bomb . I really confuse ,and still shocked and we don't know what my planning for next day...
Kuta is empty now , not many people walking around , since most of tourist are not keen on kuta and jimbaran at this moment . or specially some "crowded" spot as they worry for another bomb target .
It is a horrible thing to have happened and some of my customer aware that it is we are the Balinese community that will suffer most from this, that is why they will not cancel and give in to these terrorists. Never let the terrorist Win !!!!
