The question of who has the 'Coldest Bintang in Bali' has puzzled me for some time now, given that every second Restaurant, Café and Warung has this sign outside their establishments.
The problem is, is this statement quantifiable, and how would you go about proving once and for all, where is the 'Coldest Bintang in Bali'?
I have a suggestion, I will put in for a 'Churchill Fellowship' grant, for Smokey and I to travel the length and breadth of Bali, thermometer in hand, testing each and every claimant, not only for initial level of 'coldness' but as to the consistency and or variation in 'coldness' as we consume these test samples.
A testing panel of about 5 should be about the right size, applications for the other 3 positions can be made to me, stating previous experiences, and enclosing a $50 note to cover my administration expenses.
Ladies with the appropriate qualifications will definitely be considered, please send recent photo with your applications.
I dare say it will be a long and exhaustive project, however I feel confident that in six months we should be able to come up with a definitive answer.
