As much as I love Bali, a tiny island that has been by two bombings in the last three years is obviously more dangerous than other destinations. And not going to Bali does not mean that you're locked inside your house, there are lots of other places to visit that haven't got as heightened danger as Bali. The government does have a warning out about Bali, there are literally hundreds of other places to visit that aren't dangerous. Obviously terroists can strike anywhere, but you don't have to put your family into an area that has been proven dangerous, if you do not believe that it is safe.
Having said all of this, I do intend to return to Bali, but not right now when there is such a big question mark over it.
