I booked my tickets to go back in May (i go 16-24/11) and at no stage have I considered cancelling. Its all about choice. I choose to go. I choose not to let fear and chaos rule my life/freedom. I chose to go to Bali in April 2003 when I was pregnant. I chose to go to Bali with my family in December 2004 for Christmas - both times despite DFAT warnings.
Life IS precious, but life is unpredictable. This morning I drove past a dead body near the airport tunnel in Sydney @6.15am after a motorcyclist met with a terrible end. Does that mean I shouldn't drive to work? Would you also suggest we shouldnt travel to LONDON - where there has been a long long history of terrorist attacks? Or Madrid? Or NY? Or the Phillipines? Or Thailand?

The main aim of terrorists is not death - its chaos and fear and it looks like they just won your support Hambone!
