Rydges Amora Phuket

The other four of us (the 'outlaws' and 2 children)are cancelling Tuban holiday in Kuta Bali and are wanting us to go with them to Phuket instead. Staying at the Rydges Amora Beach Resort.

Has anyone stayed there recently and what is 'It', and Phuket like??? I have only always been to Bali before (Kuta, Tuban and Nusa Dua three times)?
