This is a dangerous post.
Why try and indicate that all is normal in Bali? I am not there, but things are not normal.
One of my best mates lives there and says it is shockingly quiet. Almost like the week after 2002, except there were more guards and police around then.
Bars, Clubs, Resturants are almost deserted and it appears most people are heeding consular warnings and staying in their accomodation. Again, much the same as post 2002.
That said... I too have had trouble with agents - they have an agenda, too many to help and hard to make changes to bookings. Free changes/cancellations, but each one costs an agent upto an hour on the phone to the holiday broker. Therefore there is also an agenda to process as many as possible. One perhaps who doesn't change their plans is an hour saved.
