and we were at Poppies Restaurant when the bombs went off. Luckily we had a friend with us who knew a security guard and they got us back to Kuta Paradiso safely. We have decided to continue our holiday because we still have 10 days to go and we feel that there are plenty of security guards etc around. We will keep close to the hotel at night but have been going out shopping during the day. They are all giving very good prices because they are really frightened that we will go home and not come back. The balinese have all said to us that they hate the terrorists as well and they hope that we will come back to Bali because their livelihood depends on tourists. They are so sad that we might leave them and they hug you on the streets and wish you good luck.
Although it was a bit scary, I am glad that we have stayed and hopefully the rest of our trip will be danger free.
