Garuda don't have a policy in place for anything further than Oct 15. They will have a policy in place by the end of the week - this is what they told me in a phone call today.
I will be ringing them daily - I don't think it hurts them to know there are concerned travellers out there.
With the current cancellation fees we stand to lost nearlt $2500 - $475 per person.
Our agent Nicki won't be charging an agents fee although they are within their rights to do so.
Please remember the agents only get a comission on bookings - if those bookings are cancelled no commission. Therefore when you think of it like that all the work they've done for you is for nothing - and they still have the cancallation paperwork to do to.
Travel agents have to put food on the table too!
