I didn't mean to upset and my old philosophy professor would be turning in his grave that I had employed Reductio ad absurdum but a person deciding to go to Bali makes a conscience decision to go knowing they may possibly be putting themselves in a dangerous situation. You do have control over the situation - at anytime you can choose not to go or choose to come home. A smoker doesn't make the poison in the cigaretts either - for me the cigarette companies are murderers too .I must stop or the Proff will come and haunt me . I guess what I was seeking from the SIL was respect my decision as I do yours - even if I don't agree with it.
