help changing Garuda return

I have a pakage paid for 4/11 for 2 weeks. I want to change my return date but TA says Garuda won't allow it. ( I want to extend by 1 week ) Has anyone done this before? can I change once I get to Bali? Should I contact Garuda in OZ?

If someone can advise I would be really thankful
