is now in Perth for work reasons. He came round to see me this morning. He has spoken to his wife Dayu on the phone and will be returning to Bali next Saturday. In his own words, he "can't wait to get back". We'll be there by then and will be spending some time together.

Some people are asking why so many of us are choosing to disregard the official travel warnings. I agree that the govt has to issue such warnings, it's a case of they're damned if they do and they're damned if they don't. But we have free choice in the matter and that is how it should be.

One thing I've noticed. Most posters respect the wishes of those who are choosing to still go to Bali and also those who are deciding to cancel. But a small number seem as if they want to make an argument of it and openly criticise those who are still going. Maybe this is not intentional, but how about those few people have a bit of understanding.
