I have just been in contact with our TA regarding picking up our tickets because we leave in two weeks. (She phoned me last week to advise that our flight home had been cancelled and we could either fly home 1 day early or extend for 2 days. Of course we decided to extend for the extra 2 days) She now tells me that when I pick up our tickets they will not have the dates changed on them, they had already been issued when the change was made, but not to worry because air paradise in Bali will honour them when we arrive at the airport because they know there was no flight on the 22nd as marked on the tickets.
I said are you sure this is going to be okay when we get there, will we need a letter of some sort to accompany the tickets to be sure? she assures me that NO everything will be fine don't worry.
I must admit that I am a little concerned because there are six of us, including 2 young children and I don't want to have any hassles at the airport in Denpasar.
I know quite a few people have had flights changed in similar circumstances recently, what has been the process by other TA's and what happened at Denpasar?
Any one have any advice, should I insist on re-issue of tickets or take the word of my TA?
