is a pommy owned restaurant/bar, overlooking the coast/beach at Padang Linjong (Canggu). Big "The Beach House" signs on the way to Tanah Lot at two different roads leading down to the beach.
Its either indoor or picnic table style outdoor dining.
They do the BBQ thing every night and Sundays they have a band as well. Its a bit of a "Sunday Session" which is a hoot tho generally a bit too busy.
The prices are not at all like Jimbaran, more like Poco Loco, Balcony, medium to up market.
Bintangs are around 14 thou (small) and often not quite cold enough, (as I said Pommy owner). The service at times can be crappy and slow.
Great margaritas!
There is a 2 thou entry fee to the beach front/parking lot.
There are 5 other places there, they are all warungs, no BBQ.
They cater mainly for surfers during the day and all but the one (Dian Cafe) adjacent to The Beach House close around 7 - 8 pm when the last customers drift off. BUT, they all know about the importance of COLD beer and all sell small Binnies for Rp 9 thou.
The food at these warungs is pretty good, plentiful and cheap.
Its OK to sit and drink at the same type of picnic tables at the warungs and order BBQ from The Beach House.
Its also Ok to order wine from The Beach House and beer from the warung whose table you're sitting at, as none of then sell wine.
The warung owners don't mind, they are in pretty laid back surf mode most of the time.
