I think it really depends what hotel your staying in really.
for example just got a land only quote for ten nights at the Grand Istana Rama Asiarooms.com quoted $763.00 were as my agent quoted me $622.00 so in that case I would go with a travel agent especially as they threw in a guaranteed upgrade to the next room category (delux) my advie shop around the net and with agents.
