The Travel Insurance (who i will never insure with again) Has finally paid for my husbands accident costs(well not all since we was charged twice for 2 specialists) After much added stress + telling them i will not stop till i get the highest possible resolve.

THANKYOU to the person who advised to watch for the exchange rate as I thought wow they are giving us an excellent exchange rate, great! then I remembered your post. Well i pursued them on that one and hey it was a difference of in excess of $96AUS$(they have just approved the difference payment)

I have a bit of advice if they decline the claim and you have to pay with your visa you can hit them for the bank conversion costs as well ;-) which is another cost in excess of $39 (hidden costs) since the medical centre seemed to have trouble in making 1 transaction and hit us for 4 different transactions.

Another piece of advice check and double check your bills before you pay even if you are in heaps of stress and upset, as we was hit by the medical centre for specialists that was not seen in the medical centre they were seen at the hospital of which we paid the hospital Mmmmm paid twice for them and not to mention the hospital we saw them at was a cheaper bill, confused now? I'm not :-( at this stage this is all we will be out of pocket with.

Well I have made up my mind never to go with any company that is associated with this emergency company. Their attitude is 1 glass of wine with your meal is "affected by alcohol" yes my husband had 3 bintangs SMALL with his meal and it was 9 HOURS PRIOR to his fall, he had been asleep, woke to go to the toilet slipped or fell. They said they needed to prepare him for maybe internal bleeding / injury and needed to prepare him for major surgery and instisted on knowing what he eaten and drank in the last 12 hours? so being as honest as i am i told them(in the heat of the moment with all the stress and my husband at this point was not responding, i didn't want my husband to die becuase i didn't tell them he had has 3 bintangs, they were small ones too!)Yes there are travel insurances that don't use them, I have been doing my homework on this one as i never want that to ever happen to us again.

For those who are interested my husband has returned to work but is on light duties still(thanks to the wonderful understanding of the men who he works with and the company he works for) He is still not totally recovered and is still experiencing headaches and tingling sensations, our Dr has been excellent and yes he is still having treatment.

Thankyou to the people who have cared so much to email me, there are some sweet people in the world. Thank-you to those who showed concern and offered their thoughts you too are very sweet.

MOST OF ALL THANK-YOU to the people who cared so much to be there for us in a time of need when we was in BALI the last few days of our holiday, we will always be greatful these people.

People say take a visa to pay for medical, okay well you will need an open visa card as our bill was nearly $3,800 and should of been heaps more except my husband signed himself out due to not having any more money. So maybe an endless visa card might just work ;-)

Please don't flame me on this post (I am posting this for people to learn from our experience, like we have, and I also want to thank so many people i have lost email address's of) let's just leave it on a good positive ending ;-) well as good as it gets ;-)
