I am heading to Bali on 6 November with my sister and her 10 year old daughter who have not been before - we will only be there until 13 November. I have just found out that Idul Fitri this year falls on 3 and 4 November, to which we were unaware before we booked and paid for our trip some 4 months ago now. Is the 3 and 4 November the end of Ramadhan or the beginning, and if so, do you think this will affect our trip? We have all been so excited about our upcoming holiday, but when I read this today I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me and I am feeling quite disappointed. I have been to Bali twice but as I mentioned, my sister and her daughter haven't and will be my niece's first trip overseas. I have checked the achieves and have only seen negative responses in relation to Idul Fitri. I was also wondering if this affects the time shops etc. are open till?? Any information would be very much appreciated.
