From my understanding I think that you get a bad room when you book directly on line as to when you book thru a TA with a package,therefore it is my understanding fromm ppl I have spoken 2 that airline companys actually own some rooms in bali hotels. When I was last in bali we met a couple and they asked who did we fly with and I said Garuda and they flew Qantas,the lady said oh we were told from the hotel staff that accom dow our end here is qantas owned... Now if that is true I dont know but maybe thats why some ppl get good rooms and those who book online get the lets say not so inviting rooms. these are just my thoughts and what I have heard. feed back is invited if someone knows different
