Having plenty of time I could have given a ball to ball description of all we did, but I find long JBRs interesting, but a bit boring. So I left out the bit about Filo's plan for a day trip. I hired a taxi for the day from a guy that I liked when he took us to Kuta. I showed him Filo's plan and he gasped we could not do that in a day. As we hat been to Mengwi many time and Tanah Lot he suggested Tanah Lot first as in the evening many buses converge on it. I agreed as I have never seen the sunset there after 4 visits. It was great the boss did not get past the market and I took photos of the temple. We went to the butterfly farm which was well worth the 40000rp entry fee. We then went to Jatiluwih and then Pacung for lunch. The king was suffering from Bintang poisoning and forgot that Pacung Indah was the recommended restaurant. We went to a big flash resort restaurant that has a buffet and soggy spring rolls. From there we went to Marga memorial. Filo has a special interest in it because of his wartime experience I think, but I felt like it was like visiting a cemetry and the road is very rough. Not worth the trouble. We arrived back at PR about 4 o'clock, so the decision not to go to Bedugal was justified. I think to follow Filo's progam you would need to be on a fast motorbike.
