i too am a frequent flyer with qantas as for seatings i have been placed all over the plane ,last trip only 3 weeks ago i had 5A the year before i was in the middle the year before i was up front again.as a qantas club member its true you cant use the lounge,but its noted on the computer at the check in counter that you are a club member its up to the clerk discresion to allow you to use the lounge ,luckily i had a very pleasnt balinese check in clerk who cordially invited me to use the lounge.but this is a very rare situation and i bet it wont happen again.
