Where do I start so I can aswer your question honestly.
You are going to a foreign country with different laws and different social acceptances when it comes to public behaviour.
Indonesia is a muslim country with muslim values incorporated into their laws. It would be fair to say that you could very well be arrested if the police saw fit.
Hopefully you are smart enuff to realize that their sentances in court are much much harsher than ours here. Even blind freddy has seen the aussies on telly in indo jails, ie look at the news and ask yourself " do I want to be on tv pleading for my freedom cos I acted like a d*ckhead and now I'm looking at 2 yrs at the kerobokan hilton"?
Can you survive on a hanful of rice a day and even that has to supplied by your family? cos their jail system supplies you with nothing!
So many times I have heard people say oh it's ok to do this back home in oz , why cant it be ok here.
These are the idiots forgetting that they are in a different country. There is never a guarentee that you will ever make it home.
Your Australian passport provide you with no protection if you break the laws of another country.
There is a common saying in Bali that is spoken by aussies when watching the way other aussies act in Bali,
"D*ckheads at home are still d*ckheads overseas"
I really hope you dont fall into that catagory but your question really gives that impression.
But of course we all know you arnt really like that otherwise you would have booked a room at your local pub and spent your holidays there, acting like a knob.
But in answer to your question I would say you could very well be arrested for immoral (indecent) behaviour and you would be looking a a huge fine or possible jail time.
Enjoy your time and have a ball in Bali but dont be a knobhead
Cheers PD
