than 2002. I have two boys and we were in Legian when the bomb exploded in Kuta. From our holiday in June/July last year security was considerably tighter than pre Oct 2002. Most hotels have security at the entrances etc. At the airport your luggage is scanned for explosives as well as being xrayed - I could go on and on. We have been 5 times and always have such a great holiday. Between cooking classes, cycling tours, white water rafting and guided day tours to silver and batik houses, Ubud to see the art etc etc. or just lazing around a pool, or shopping, shopping shopping. It's all great fun. Loads and loads to do. If you decide on Bali you will have a wonderful time.
