I had my carton of ciggys I took over with me and didnt smoke and also the carton I purchased for return trip and when I got to customs in Aust I was told I would have to pay excess of $90 on the ciggy's. I told them to take a carton as I didnt care and after about 20 mins after searching my wooden stuff and the bags they told me to go and not to worry about it as I hadnt made a fuss about it. Pays to be calm about it I suppose. They didnt bother about the 3 litres of booze I had. I dont care as long as I didnt loose the booze.:)
