we have been buying them and bringing back for the last 10 years from Matahari in clear cellophane wrap.
The packets keep in the fridge for months - add some coconut milk and garlic/chili.
For the purists - no use by date and no list of ingrediants. Don't even think of the preservatives as it is not refrigerated and it has peanuts in it.
You must declare it to Customs/AQIS on return to Australia otherwise the beagles may embarrass you!!
