i too have flown previously with AP and really do not have anything complimentary to say about them, especially their professionalism in advising passengers what is happening. i was on the plane last september which was delayed flying out of denpasar and re-directed to adelaide. i had to leave my 9 year old son looking after the luggage while i lined up at denpasar airport with my tickets to be told that we were not flying out till early hours of the morning and most of the time i could not see my son. it was a horrible nightmare to be treated like we didn't exist and no explanations of what was happening, even when we arrived in adelaide it took hours for someone to come and let us know what was going on and even then he didn't have the answers and we were supposed to stay calm and happy with the situation, sorry not me. i could go on and on regarding their service but i have already voiced my concerns with them with absolutely no compensation from what happened last year. unfortunately i am flying with them again this year as it was the best package i could get and have emailed the person i dealt with from AP to let them know that i surely hope that there are no major problems/delays with this holiday. from reading the forum, it's good to hear that you aren't the only one that has problems with AP (even though i wouldn't wish what happened to me and my son on anyone) but obviously as long as they have the money and passengers, they treat their clients as second rate.
