Hubby and I are off to Bali Mandira in June and booked (and paid in full for) a single storey cottage (deluxe). We have now been advised that the ground floor rooms of the double storey cottages have been made into 'deluxe' accommodation also for the same price.
Has anyone stayed there recently and knows what the ground floor rooms are like? Are they much further away from the pool area?
Apparently they can't guarantee what room we will get until we check-in.....(I didn't pay extra to have people in a room above me.) Am trying to decide whether to change hotels so I can be guaranteed of getting what I paid for.
