Got back last week and used my Visa card to access my savings all the time. I am also with a Credit Union and incurred no fees. I was pleased with the exchange rate. The street rate was 7245 on the day of my first withdrawal and when I checked my statement online it worked out at 7185 per AUS dollar. I was a bit reluctant to use the atm's after dark if they where not well lit and in busy areas. If you need money at night I found that the Circle K's and Mini Marts have ATM's and I felt a lot safer.
