We have done the Elephant park with Bali dventure Tours. We would highly recommend them to anyone. We actually did a combo tour - which included white water rafting, then the elephants. They picked us up, took us to the rafting, after we had buffet lunch, driven to elephants, rode the E's and then they drove us back to our hotel. A great day out. Was approx AU$100 each.
As for the dancing, Batubulan is a good place to see dancing, as is in Ubud. We have a distance chart on one of our info sheets on Bali.
