A Balinese warung owner said to me years ago that the Muslims love coming to Bali for a holiday so that they can drink beer and eat bacon. Maybe a tongue in cheek comment, or maybe more than a grain of truth. And the fascination that the scantily dressed people on the beaches hold for the Javanese visitors is legendary.
