Just make sure that there are no tiny holes anywhere on the item & preferably sealed. You just have to declare them for customs to check & have to be prepared to lose it, but of the many items we have brought back we have only everhad 1 thing taken.I have just returned & was thoroughly checked & questioned through customs for which we later realised was a jar of VEGEMITE. They still let us through, but how embarressing.
