Once again we seem to sailing more or less in the same boat.
Very close to Bombay(where I stay) is Goa, which has great scenic beauty. Beautiful beaches, superb sunsets, abundance of coconut and cashew trees. Pigs, palms and priests ;-)
I didn't like the humidity of Bali at all. Very uncomfortable, very inconvenient...to be dripping with sweat most of the time. And, yes, at the hotel we stayed in the A/C didn't function properly right through, the shower was a joke and the basin didn't drain well till it was finally fixed after a few days of complaining.
Despite these problems, BALI is a great place to visit. But to keep going there year after year and miss out on other potentially exciting holiday destinations is something I would NEVER DO.
