I got onto this board about 2 months(in October, 2004) before I made my first (and only, so far) visit to Bali. I was helped by a number of people on this board wrt choice of hotel, taxis, currency notes, restaurants, etc, etc. My staying on this board since has been to help others with any advice I can give...so as as to sort of pay back the debt.
I think that if you search the archives you will find that my help has been appreciated by a few. Ofcourse, my views will be mine...meaning they will not be those of an addict...but as objective as possible. I get the distinct impression, though, that you would prefer that I join the bandwagon of addicts here or quit. Is that what you are saying ? That there is no room for objectivity here or any honest criticism of Bali will not be tolerated ?
