You're not expected to buy a meal for your driver. If you particularly like them and feel you'd like them to join you then invite them but I'd guess most would politely decline.
I've usually found that they'll more often than not have a sleep in the car while waiting for you. Sometimes they'll have a chat with other locals if there's some around - or they'll go find something to eat themselves.
I donno if it's the case with most Balinese, but it's certainly been my experience that many of them prefer to eat from warungs and street sellers than in the restaurants that cater to us tourists anyway.
