Don't know exactly what it is about Bali that gets in your blood....lots of things really. The shoppping is cheap, the food great, the people wonderful. It is only 41/2 hours from adelaide, it is a small island that you can get around easily, you can stay in 5 star luxury or $5 a night jobs, you can eat at a restaurant that will cost you $80 for a meal or you can eat at a warung for about 60 cents. There is something for everyone, I've met 5 year olds who love it and I've met 85 year olds who love it. I have been to Malaysia twice, Thailand twice, Vietnam,Hong kong,Singapore twice,Israel,Italy,England,Hawaii,Lombok,Gili Islands, all around Australia and various other parts of the world but Bali is the one place that I always keep coming back to. Just had my 7th trip there. The first time I went to Bali and stepped off the plane I had an overwhelming feeling that I was home, never experienced that anywhere else in the world. And everytime I leave Bali I get homesick!!!! Not saying that I don't like other places, just that they don't hold that same magic for me that Bali does and I guess if you have to ask people why Bali, then you obviously aren't infected with the Bali virus!!!!
