Ive traveled throughout a lot of Indonesia east and west, although not north(borneo-kalimatan,yet to get there,no waves:()...and even though there are so many litle magic spots,Bali relly is the cherry on top In a lot of ways.

I often think why Bali?,why not here when I stumble across a picture perfect place a little fishing village with a perfect sandy beach backed by rice paddys jungle and mountains.
And i always come to the conclustion that I don't think it's the actual place or just the place, although Bali is beautiful even now,and somehow even Kuta is beautiful.
It's the people.

Wasnt there a time in history when all the artist of all types, and kind of misfits of that time plus a lot of hindus left on java ect fled to Bali, when Indonesia was overtaken by the muslim faith?

Maybee that has something to do with it? why the people are so friendly?
Or maybee it's indo hindu religion itself?
Because even though there is very many many great friendly Indonesians out there in the rest of indonesia the general vibe is diffrent, and the level of culture and art, although there and diffrent is not as rich.

So why are the balinesse so friendly?...maybee it's genertic?
Imagine how nice life would be if everyone was as friendly as the balinesse, maybee scientist can find the gen?.
