Those with removeable(CDMA)SIM Card inside and the other with no SIM Card, the so-called the injection type.
It seemed like CDMA phones in Australia belong to the injection type, which is totally useless in Bali.
There is at least one CDMA operator in Denpasar that covered surounding areas (Kuta, Nusa Dua etc,), they sell prepaid CDMA SIM card too. but again your phone should have a slot for placing it.
